Quality, creativity and individuality constitute the very essence of F & M Steed as indeed they did back in 1965 when our company was first established. Almost four decades later we are still a family-run business and proud of the fact.

Over the years our totally bespoke, hand made, upholstered furniture has gained for us an enviable reputation which we value highly and uphold assiduously.Our designs are offered in an extensive range of fabrics, either sourced exclusively for ourselves from around the world or from the well known fabric suppliers in the U.K. including Romo, Monkwell, Crowson, Sanderson to name but a few. Frames are constructed from beech and birch and since these are also made on our premises dimensions can be adjusted to suit individual requirements. These are just the major considerations then there are the choices of cushion fillings; trimmings options; leg and feet styles.
